Children's Holiday Classes
Easter - 7th, 8th & 9th April
Choose a morning or afternoon session - or stay for the day. Each day the tutor works through two painting/drawings with the children.
Morning sessions (£25 per day) - 10.00am to 12.30pm
Afternoon sessions (£25 per day) - 1.00pm to 3.30pm
Full day (£50 per day) - 10.00am to 3.30pm
Summer Dates - 27th, 28th, 29th July & 3rd, 4th, 5th August
Also, help with Art Scholarship portfolios, GCSE & A Level Art coursework.
Please bring snacks, refreshments & lunch. We recommend children wear old clothes or an apron/shirt.

Ceramics - Beginners Throwing
5-Week Terms - w/b 13th April
Tamsin Levene, our resident potter will be running a number of throwing for beginners workshops over 5 weeks. Monday evenings, 7.15pm to 9.15pm, Tuesdays, 10.00am to 12.00pm & 12.30pm to 2.30pm.
Maximum 4 students - A potter’s wheel each - £200 per 5 x 2 hours

Matisse’s Paper Cut-outs
7th March 2026
We will be running a life drawing session, influenced by Matisse’s paper cut-outs. We will be working from a life model to capture line, form, positive and negative space. The last hour of the session will include preparation of papers for our own interpretations of Matisse’s paper cut-outs based on our observed observational drawings from the life model. The day will start at 10.00am and end at 1.00pm.

Mixed media
8th March 2026
We will be running a Mixed media course, influenced by the natural world. Combining printed material, collage, painting and drawing, you’ll learn how to create your own interpretation of meadow flowers with insects and birds. The day will start at 10.00am and end at 4.00pm.

Drawing for Beginners
Summer -2026 - 5-Weeks
Drawing fundamentals are the essential, foundational skills required to represent three-dimensional on a two-dimensional surface. Line, Shape, form, perspective, value and composition will be studied over the 5 week course.

Lino printing Workshop
During this workshop you will learn how to make a one-colour lino-print based either on your own design or one of the examples provided. The different linocut tools, and which tools are used for each type of mark will be covered. You will cut a sample linocut to explore the range of marks that can be made and inking up methods will be demonstrated and explained. Your sample linocut will be used for reference and you will prepare your design and learn how to transfer this design to the lino, before cutting and printing.
