The village of Carvoeiro where our accommodation is found is centrally located enabling easy access to the spectacular coastline both to the east and west of the village. Away from the impressive coastline, inland Algarve has a surprisingly diverse landscape, with lush orange groves and wooded mountains. The Moorish capital Silves, is en route to the Serra de Monchique, the highest mountain range of the south where cork and chestnut woods exist with the scattering of remote villages.
